Summer 2018 — work hard and play hard

A milestone since Smart Technology (STECH) was founded in October 2005 was the arrival of VinSmart, our foremost competitor, with resources said to be limitless. STECH was not shaken in the least — quite the opposite, we were thrilled, because it proved how right the direction we set years ago has been.

It will be a new challenge all the same. For more than ten years STECH has mostly competed against Western and Chinese manufacturers; no domestic rival of that stature had appeared.

"Mastering technology together" remains our guiding principle: competing, but growing together on both sides.

Alongside this historic milestone came a summer resort holiday to recharge for the battles ahead.

The tour was designed specially for the company, because with many small children the usual check-in-style itineraries would not do:
- A stay at the five-star Sun Spa resort, with a private beach, two swimming pools, five-star interiors, five-star service and a five-star bar showing football on an 85" screen;
- A visit to Phong Nha Ke Bang and Paradise Cave;
The caves have vast, mysterious stalactite formations shaped by nature over hundreds of millions of years; after visiting both, nobody is likely to want to visit the "finest cave under the southern sky" again,
- Watching the sun rise over the dunes, sandboarding, swimming morning and afternoon, team-building games, bathing in the stream and canoeing.

The break had barely ended before the company, as tradition demands, threw itself straight back into dozens of projects creating new products and new features.
